James and Trineene Hall serve as Lead Pastors of Power in Action Church in Buford, GA. James and Trineene are from Chesapeake, VA and moved to GA over 6 years ago. They have been married for 19 years and together they have 5 beautiful children (Jevonte, Rakeem, Daisia, Destiny, and Toni) and 3 awesome grandchildren (JaMareon, Aliyah, and Major).

Power in Action Church is a multi-generational and cultural church focused on empowering and loving all people into their assignment. There are many people within our families and society that want God, but are tired of religious rituals and egotistic routines. Well, we are Pastors that love God and are extenders of grace and love that will ultimately compel people to come unto salvation. We have a passion to minister to those that have been rejected, poor, broken, hurt, battling addictions, in need of deliverance, embarrassed, spiritually blind, psychologically overwhelmed, or just tired of church as usual. We come in the authority given by God to preach the acceptable year of the Lord according to Luke 4:19.

When I took on this project with the Halls, they wanted something that represented dominion, truth, and deliverance. With those core values, we adopted a color palette that reflected that meaning of richness, royalty, & freedom which yielded shades of purple, gold, and green with a hint of silver. For their logo concept, we went with the eagle which represents height and the ability to see further than where they are and the torch which represents being the light. We selected two basic sans and sans serif fonts but played it up with a script font, the madelyn and the rest was history.
